Experience

Alison received her M.A. in Education with a Special Education focus from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and holds a California teaching credential in Extensive Support Needs, along with two Career Technical Education credentials in Business and Finance and Health Science and Medical Technology.

She has over fifteen years of experience working with disabled adults and children across mental health, residential care, and educational settings. Her background includes providing services within mental health programs and serving senior populations in the Bay Area, as well as roles as a Consumer Services Coordinator for Inland Regional Center and as a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional and administrator for JonBec Care, Inc., an organization operating Intermediate Care Facility homes in the Inland Empire. Alison also worked as a substitute teacher and as a special education classroom paraprofessional. These roles required coordination across clinical, residential, and educational systems and provided her with a broad, systems-level understanding of care, compliance, and service delivery across multiple levels of an organization. She currently works as an itinerant teacher specializing in Orthopedic Impairment for the Riverside County Office of Education.

Evan has over fourteen years of experience in systems engineering and IT administration across a range of industries. He began his career in managed services, supporting clients that included K–12 education, interior design firms, credit unions, and California Department of Corrections contractors. His experience includes specialized IT contracting, leading a systems engineering team within a large private corporation, and serving as the sole IT professional for Angel View, Inc., a nonprofit operating Intermediate Care Facility homes for adults and children with disabilities in the Coachella Valley.

Evan holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Redlands, and his technical expertise has been developed primarily through hands-on, self-directed learning and extensive professional experience. Across these roles, he has supported organizations at varying scales, balancing operational continuity, security, and long-term systems planning within complex environments. He currently works as a senior systems engineer for Exigent Systems, Inc., a bespoke IT services company.
